"Early Native American Chicken Delivery Service"

Inspired by the Pony Express and the earliest Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises, three Navajo brothers set up the first instant chicken delivery service in 1881, claiming to be able to deliver chickens "from your smoke signal to your doorstep in under an hour." 

Business improved considerably when the brothers offered to cook the chickens first.
